WOMEN’S HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

November 19th-21st, 2010
Wenatchee, WA

$625 USD/team before October 15th ($650/team after October 16st)
Beginner/Novice & Intermediate/Advanced Divisions
Guaranteed 3 games (possible championships)
Referee and Scorekeepers provided
All games played at the Town Toyota Center
Must be registered with USA Hockey (does not apply to Candians)

non-refundable $100 deposit to hold your spot.

We have a huge yard so feel free to camp.

Take Wenatchee Ave to South Wenatchee Ave. Go West on Crawford Street to Methow Street. Go South (towards mountains) on Methow for about ½ mile then turn left on Canyon Breeze. Street is L Shaped ours is the last one on the left, 2 story green with white porch.
For those who like more details:  from the arena go North (right turn out of arena) on Walla Walla to 9th St. Take 9th over the tracks to the first light which is North Wenatchee Ave. Follow North Wenatchee Ave which turns into South Wenatchee Ave. You will drive all the way through town and down under the bridge. Look for Crawford St on your right shortly after you go under the bridge. Take Right on Crawford then go through the light and take a left after the park on Methow. Then follow directions above.

Bring your swim suits! The pool is about 95 degrees even if it’s cold out.

2010 Hockey Gear Swap and WAHA Registration Day

Sunday, September 12, 10:00am – 3:00pm, Town Toyota Center

You are invited to attend and/or participate in the 2010 Hockey Gear Swap.  This event will include the Hockey Gear Swap, information booths, WAHA Walk-In Registration Day, Stick and Puck session, and WAHA Skate-A-Thon Fundraiser.  More information regarding each portion of the event is listed below.  This event is open to all community members.

The purpose of this Community Event is to:

  • Promote hockey and skating in the Wenatchee Valley
  • Providing an outlet for families and individuals to affordably obtain gear and equipment
  • Provide an outlet for families and individuals to conveniently discard used gear and equipment
  • Provide community members with information pertaining to available hockey and skating opportunities


If you are interested in selling gear at this event, we ask that you register for a FREE selling space by August 15, 2010.  If you are interested in donating new or used gear, please see “Gear Drop Off” below.

Hockey/Skating Gear Swap

  • The Gear Swap, both selling and buying, is open to all community members.
  • It will take place from 10:00am – 3:00pm on Sunday, September 12.
  • Set up will be similar to that of a swap meet.
  • Items to be sold are limited to hockey gear/equipment and accessories as well as ice skating or figure skating gear/equipment and accessories.
  • Pre-designated space will be sectioned with tape before the event begins.
  • Spaces may not exceed 10 ft. in width by 15 ft. in length.
  • Pre-registration is encouraged.  (See below for more information)
  • Set up will take place 1-1.5 hours prior to the event start time.
  • There will be no charge for individuals/organizations to use space for this event.
  • All transactions for gear purchased or traded will be the sole responsibility of the seller and/or purchaser.  The Town Toyota Center, WAHA, nor any other user groups will be responsible for mediating any problems that occur through these transactions.
  • Individuals/groups will be asked to provide their own tables, chairs, and any other furniture/equipment necessary for their space.
  • The Gear Swap will take place either on the concourse inside the Town Toyota Center or outside in the parking lot.

 

Gear Drop Off:

  • Individuals who would like to discard gear may do so by donating it to WAHA.
  • WAHA volunteers will be responsible for a space that facilitates the accumulation, organization, and potential re-sale of this gear.
  • All proceeds of the sale of this gear will be donated directly to WAHA.
  • Gear that is not sold will be kept by WAHA for future use or responsibly disregarded.

 

Other portions of the event:

  • WAHA will hold “Walk-in Registration” from 10:00am – 3:00pm.  For more information visit www.wenblades.com.
  • Town Toyota Center will hold a Stick-And-Puck session from 11:15am-12:45pm.  Cost is $8.00.
  • WAHA will hold a Skate-A-Thon fundraiser from 1:00-3:00pm.  More information available soon at www.wenblades.com.
